About Us
Debbie Quinn has been involved in the sewing quilting industry for the past 44 years. As a sewing teacher, lecturer and designer she started to design bags for sewing classes. Her first bag, The Sewers Traveling Tote was such a hit with all her students that she made it into a pattern and taught numerous classes. She's been designing ever since.
Debbie's extensive background in art & dressmaking has helped her in creating her patterns. She has taken numerous classes in pattern design and workshops including a Serger Workshop with Palmer & Pletsch, Garment Construction with Shermain Fouche, Couture Sewing with Roberta Carr, Jenny Haskins for the Pfaff Sewing Machine as well as many others. She also is a graduate of Manchester Community College and has attended design classes at Paier College of Art as well as Old Lyme Art Academy. Debbie also sews & creates quilt designs for Exclusively Quilters.
Debbie also designed a quilt for Fons & Porter Baby & Kids 2011 Called Cosmopolitan. She designed the quilt using fabrics from Exclusively Quilters.
When she isn't sewing she is helping out with her son's construction company. She has along with her son's, won numerous awards in landscape design for the CT Flower Show. Her passion for gardening and sewing gives her immense pleasure. You can visit the site at stonebridgecraftsmen.com
